Very bad experience with this doctor. He put me on one medication for treating stomach pain. I called to ask a couple of side effect related questions after taking the medicine, and mentioned this drug is not covered by my insurance so quite expensive. He was very impatient and literally yelling at me and said "stop calling me to complain about the cost. I don't know which drug is covered by your insurance" and then he hanged up. I was totally terrified. I didn't complain about anything. I just wanted to explore if there was an alternative drug. If that is the right and only medicine, I will take it regardless of the cost. However, the way he talked to me is so unprofessional as a doctor and rude as a person. After that, there is no way for me to go back to him. As a patient, we need a doctor who is not only treating the patients with professional skills but also respect and patience. I will find another GI doctor.
A+ treatment beginning at the front desk, continuing on through the nursing staff, and including Dr. Chen. I was treated with kindness and courtesy by all. Communication was clear, follow up was quick. A good experience all around. Recommed highly
